I’m so glad you are here! Substack seems to be the writing home on the internet for many people with stories they want to share. I hope you stick around as I share some of mine. I love the no frills approach and simplicity of connecting with other writers and readers on this platform. And I hope you come to enjoy it, too.

This space is a creative capsule where words, and art, and stories come together to highlight hope in the hidden places of life.

I’m a firm believer that joy and heartache can coexist and my writing often reflects the messy tango between the two. I passionately believe that stories are meant to be shared and help us find a sense of home the way it is meant to be—the place that brings warmth, helps us feel safe, and reminds us we aren’t alone. 

So who is this girl writing on the internet? Well, I’m married to Bradley, my real life superhero. Together we spent two years doing missions work overseas in North Africa. You’ll hear stories about God and His faithfulness and how following Jesus is the best thing I have ever done. My busiest role is that of mom, to our three boys who were born within three and a half years of each other. Our home is always loud, our table is always messy, and our laundry pile is always high. But through the busyness and noise are the stories about God’s faithfulness, His goodness, and the beauty that unfolds when we stop to recognize the sacred among the mundane. 

What you read here won’t always be polished and presented but everything will be authentic and true. In reading, I hope you find something that your heart needs to see and believe in again. Something that leaves you saying, “Yes! Me too!” Something that reminds you of the Lord’s kindness and goodness.

I love a good dirty chai tea latte, sunflowers, Gilmore Girls, and baking the perfect chocolate chip cookie.
